This is an amazing piece of work by Joshua Davis, to quote him off the flickr stream:
“Random Assistant”, using a generative system to create artwork I have always left the decision making of my compositions to the programs I write. One of the components of this system is how to color and paint the artwork. I have decided to pull this functionality out of the software and giving this decision making control to the public... who will use brushes and transparent watercolors to color the work.
